Every holiday season, The Carole Robertson Center for Learning relies on our partners and closest supporters who participate in our Holiday Gift Giving Campaign. Through your generosity we ensure that each one of our 1,200+ children and youth enrolled in our Early Care and Afterschool programs receive a gift of their choice for the upcoming holidays. For many families we serve, the joy of giving gifts to children is often dampened by the reality of limited resources.
Make a donation today to help make this season a little brighter!
About The Carole Robertson Center for Learning
The Carole Robertson Center for Learning, founded in 1976, is a nonprofit organization serving more than 2,000 children, youth (0-17) and their families across Chicago with a significant presence in the North Lawndale, Little Village and now Albany Park communities.
As one of the city’s largest Head Start and Early Head Start providers, we partner with families to fortify their role as a child’s first teacher because all children can learn when they have enough to eat, reliable housing and a healthy family. Our Center works to honor the life and memory of Carole Robertson who, together with her classmates, Addie Mae Collins, Cynthia Wesley, and Denise McNair, was killed in the 1963 bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama.
